- Experienced product developer over a decade of experience in product management, with Raúl pioneering innovative software solutions in the tax and legal domain and other compliance-driven business areas.
- Graduated as Master of Laws (specializing in tax law) from Erasmus
- University in Rotterdam,
Worked at KPMG Meijburg, SDU Uitgevers, various scale-ups in information security and prior to the establishment of LEXGEN AI at Wolters Kluwer as head of tax product development in the Netherlands. - Expertise mainly covers product development in the legal tech industry with particular emphasis on innovation of tax and legal databases that include use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and other search and semantic web technologies, personalized recommendation systems, knowledge management, secure software development and applied cryptography in an ISO27001 certified environment.

Background
- Robert studied Artificial Intelligence in Utrecht as well as a bachelor’s degree in Management and is an expert in data science with a deep passion for the application of generative AI in regulated business domains.
- As CTO, Robert oversees all LEXGEN technical matters and contributes significantly to the development of the LEXGEN platform.
- His expertise spans providing breakthrough AI solutions in complex industries such as legal, tax, accounting and other knowledge-intensive and regulated areas.
- In the past, Robert developed the voice interface of the former start-up ‘Homey’ and Homey is now available in many stores in the Netherlands.
- Previous roles at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ING Netherlands, Datavibes, Athom, Wolters Kluwers and Achmea have enabled Robert to make significant contributions to the application of AI, Machine Learning and data science more broadly over the years.

Klaas Wagenaar is an entrepreneur, AI technology strategist, and managing partner at Canton Capital. With over 30 years of experience in the Tech & Digital sector, he has deep expertise in digital solutions, consultancy, ERP, and infrastructure services.
In 2013, he founded BOLD and BOLD Digital, which were successfully acquired by FTI Consulting in 2022. Klaas’s expertise includes digital transformation, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and complex restructurings.
He leverages advanced technologies such as Low Code/No Code and Generative AI to bridge the gap between business and technology. Klaas leads strategic repositioning and integration programs, focusing on maximizing value creation and optimizing operational efficiency.
